Mindful May – May the Fourth Be With You!

We have very busy lives and multi-tasking is now commonplace, as mum’s, we have many plates to spin!

Mindfulness is about doing just ONE thing at a time, with FULL AWARENESS. If you are walking, just walk. If you are eating, just eat. If you are brushing your teeth, just brush—instead of trying to get it done quickly so that you can move on to something else, invest 100 percent of your effort into whatever you are doing. Proceed as if it is the most important thing in the world, with great curiosity and care. tune in to your senses. What does this thing that you are doing look like? What does it smell like? What does it sound like? What does it feel like?

Whatever we give our attention to is important because we give the power to whatever the attention is directed!!
