Mindful May – Day 17

Marvel at the Mundane! – We do so many things on automatic pilot, not sure about you but housework is definitely one activity I am often not present on!

Think about something you do every single day that you tend to do unconsciously and give it your FULL attention.

Stop for a moment. Take a few mindful breaths and observe what is happening for you right here and now.
Then, proceed with the activity as if it is the most important thing in the world, with great curiosity and care. A
s you do this, tune in to your senses. What does this thing that you are doing look like? What does it smell like? What does it sound like? What does it feel like?

Turn something ordinary into something extra-ordinary!
